Current Versions
StorageLink (BYOL) — Active
The BYOL (Bring Your Own License) listing is the primary listing for StorageLink. Customers on this listing receive new features, regular security updates, and an ongoing upgrade path. The number of users is determined by your license — start with a 30-day free trial (10 users), then purchase a production license sized to your needs. Upgrading your license is a file upload — no migration required.

StorageLink (Marketplace — AWS, Azure, GCP) — Active
The marketplace listing is available on AWS, Azure, and GCP with hourly pricing. Starting with version 1.3.0, marketplace instances are licensed for 10 StorageLink users (administrators are not counted). Customers with more than 10 users should use the BYOL listing, where the license is issued for the number of users required.

Upgrading from v1.2.x or Earlier
Version 1.3.0 introduces a 10-user limit on marketplace instances. Your upgrade path depends on how many users your deployment has:
More than 10 users — Migrate to BYOL
Marketplace v1.3.0 enforces a 10-user limit. If you upgrade to v1.3.0 on the marketplace, your existing users will continue to work, but you will not be able to add or replace users beyond 10. Instead, migrate to the BYOL listing with a license sized to the number of users you need. This gives you the latest features, security patches, and a license sized to the number of users you need.
If you are not ready to migrate yet, stay on your current version. Your deployment will continue to work, but you will not receive security patches or new features until you migrate.

10 or fewer users — Update to v1.3.0 on the marketplace
You are under the 10-user limit. Update to v1.3.0 on the marketplace for the latest security patches and new features. No license is needed — stay on marketplace billing as before.
