Pricing in SFTP Gateway

Overview

Pricing for SFTP Gateway on the Google marketplace is pay-as-you-go, which is $0.07 (instances with 1-2 vCPU) or $0.08 (instances with 4 or more vCPUs) USD per hour that the VM runs. This is a software charge on top of the cost of the VM, which depends on the VM class.

Pay as you go Pricing

SFTP Gateway uses pay-as-you-go pricing. This means that you are charged a flat rate per hour for the software when you are running the VM.

License for SFTP Gateway SFTP Gateway Usage Fee - vCPU Based Pricing:

• USD 0.07/hour (USD 51.10/month) for instances with 1-2 vCPU(s).
• USD 0.08/hour (USD 58.40/month) for instances with 4 or more vCPUs.

This pricing applies to the software only -- there is a separate hourly cost for the underlying VM. The VM price depends on the series and machine type (e.g. e2-medium).

How to stop being charged

To stop getting charged for SFTP Gateway, stop (de-allocate) or terminate the VM in the Google console. Deallocating will help ensure that you are no longer being metered for the underlying VM infrastructure.
